Colin Rajah is the Coordinator of the International Migrant Rights Program
at the National Network for Immigrant and Refugee Rights (NNIRR). A native
of, and political refugee from Malaysia, Rajah has been a community organizer
and educator for 2 decades.
Colin is a Coordinating Committee member of the upcoming U.S. Social Forum
being organized by a coalition of grassroots U.S. organizations working
on global justice issues. He also coordinates all relationships with international
migrant organizations especially with Geneva-based Migrants Rights International
(MRI), a network of migrant rights organizations worldwide.
Colin is author of Malaysia's
New Economic Policy: A Case-Study of Elite Economics and has published
dozens of articles on working class youth of color, global solidarity
education, community development, trade and globalization, as well as
on Asia, Southeast Asia and Malaysia specifically.
