Thank you for your support, as we rise to the challenge of 2018

...for human rights, justice, and fairness

As we wind down 2017, we celebrate the hard work, support and commitment of members, friends, interns, volunteers and allies with whom we have worked this past year. We especially want to thank you for your encouragement, collaboration and financial support following the November 2016 elections -- and the subsequent onslaught of hateful, racially-charged and inhumane pronouncements and actions out of the Trump White House.

We have been honored to work with our activist colleagues in the U.S. and from around the world -- who all share our commitment to human rights & justice, who are on the frontlines of the immediate crises of migrant communities, and who are dedicated to addressing "root causes" and seeking durable solutions. We look forward to our continued partnership.

We hope you will consider a year-end donation to NNIRR. Your contribution now (and throughout the year, as a monthly or quarterly sustainer), will help us to keep our commitments:

  • Organizing and supporting the defense and protection of immigrants and refugees from deportation, detention, harassment, discrimination and exclusion.
  • Providing strategic spaces for visioning and collaboration.

  • Building multi-sector alliances among people of color, women, LGBTIQ, the poor, working class, immigrants, refugees, environmental activists and more--working in solidarity on issues that concern us all.

  • Promoting grassroots education and organizing, with a renewal of our popular education tools and broadening outreach, connections, and learning through lived experiences.

  • Communicating a sharp message for human and civil rights that takes on xenophobic, racist, and fear-mongering rhetoric.

  • Working with global partners to promote rights-centered policies and actions that address the human rights crisis of migrants and refugees, and always--pushing the envelope on solutions to the "root causes" of forced migration.
