Let's Party! Join NNIRR members, friends and family for our 30th birthday bash!

Take a mid-summer break to enjoy a great evening among friends and colleagues in the immigrant rights movement and beyond. NNIRR is 30 years old this year, and we'll be sharing some delicious food and drinks, interesting and fun conversation, and yes -- dancing to music with DJ Juan G!

Where and when:

Friday, July 29

6:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Washington Inn

495 10th Street in downtown Oakland

(Across from the Marriott, just off Broadway and a half block from the Oakland City Center BART station).

You can buy your tickets in advance online through Brown Paper tickets hereor you can purchase your ticket at the door. ($55 general, $25 seniors/students)

Just in! We're thrilled that Sasha Khokha, the host of KQED's California Magazine, will be joining us as our "guest interviewer". She'll be engaging our terrific National Board members in a lively round of questions on some key issues of the day. You won't want to miss this spirited discussion and commentary!

And we know you'll want to meet up with members of the Board: Eddie Canales, Bill Chandler, Lillian Galedo, Isabel Garcia, Monica Hernandez, Gerald Lenoir, Christian Ramirez, Janis Rosheuvel and Cathi Tactaquin.

We'll have a some great items on auction, plus brand new Just Borders t-shirts on sale -- making their debut at the event! And who can pass up a chance to have some great pictures taken with friends in our "photo booth"!

Don't miss this great opportunity for a fun and engaging evening. After two weeks of non-stop electoral party convention coverage, we all deserve a break! (Although you can imagine what we'll all be discussing!)

See you on Friday! Get your tickets here or at the door!

Can't make it to the party?

And if you absolutely can't get to the celebration, we'd be happy to accept your 30th birthday donation to NNIRR! Just click here to make an online donation -- and thank you, for your support.
